That Time Of Year

Baseball season.

The back of the van is no longer an empty place for the groceries, but instead, carries lawn chairs, blankets, and baseball gear. And dirt.

Buying Gatorade in bulk.

Home Runs.

Bubble gum and sunflower seeds.

High fives and lots of "Atta Boy!"

Farmer tans.

Baseball games under the lights.

Sandwiches for dinner.

The old, familiar lesson that it's not always about winning.

And a whole lot of OxiClean.

  1. You have brought back a lot of memories for me. My son plays college ball so I no longer have to do the oxi-clean. Enjoy it now, it really does go by fast. Be blessed!
